Deep Space Orchestra

Deep Space Orchestra are the UK duo Chris Barker and Si Murray who have been DJing and producing together since 2005.  They hit the disco boogie house scene hard  in 2011 with a string of releases on heavyweight labels such as Delusions of Grandeur, Quintessentials and ART. 2011 also saw them making regular DJ appearances throughout the UK and across Europe as well as guest radio mixes broadcast on seminal radio shows such as Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide show and Michael Ruetten’s Soulsearching show.

2012 has so far seen them remix the likes of TJ Kong, Toby Tobias and Andy Ash, with original material due to be released on labels such as Instruments of Rapture, Drumpoet Community, Quintessentials, Foto and Aesthetic Audio. They also run the Use of Weapons record label which, despite being only 4 releases old, is already widely acclaimed and supported by the likes of Gilles Peterson / Jimpster / Mark E / Ame / Francois K / Laurent Garnier / Rub n Tug / Tornado Wallace / The Revenge / Nicholas / Tim Sweeney / DJ Deep and many more.
